Repero updates

SMS regulations are getting stricter in many countries, and providers increasingly require businesses to register and send from their own verified sender ID.

You can now add your own text message provider such as Twilio, Plivo, Sinch etc.

This is useful if your country requires sender ID registration. When your account is connected, Repero sends SMS with your credentials and does not use Repero SMS credits for those messages.

How to set it up

  1. Open SMS Settings (Company settings → SMS).
  2. Scroll to Your own SMS provider.
  3. Turn on Use my own SMS provider account.
  4. Choose your provider (Twilio, Plivo, or Sinch).
  5. Enter your API key / account ID and auth token or API secret.
  6. Enter your From / Sender ID (your brand name or phone number, as registered with your provider).
  7. Click Connect provider or Save connection.

Then open a repair and send an SMS as usual. Messages will go through your provider. You can disconnect anytime to switch back to Repero’s built-in SMS.

Go to SMS Settings

You can now send your customers payment links through Repero using Stripe or Square payments.

Enable that option in the: Payment methods settings

When you have enabled a payment method, you can create payment links inside repairs, and use the {{payment_links}} variable in the Custom Emails or Text Messages settings to send those links to your customers via Email.

You can now enable integrations that can help you fill in the product form faster.
After enabling an integration, you will see that integration button on the product form.
If you click that new button in the form, it will send an API call to your integration to fetch the data for that serial / VIN / identification number.
If a matching number is found it will populate the form with the matching data, saving you time.

If you have an idea for an integration, contact us and we will try to add it!
